It is normal for the area to feel tender immediately after the procedure

Coolslimming uses heating and cooling technology to safely and effectively eliminate fat cells. The revolutionary Coolslimming device provides various sized applicators which are able to target both small and large areas such as the abdomen, flanks, thighs, back, arms and chin.
Treatment begins with an anti freeze gel pad and applicator being applied.
Initial vacuum to secure the selected area commences, followed by heating to 40° then controlled freezing to a temperature between 0°C and -11°C.
Treatment time is approximately 45 minutes for body and limbs.

what is the difference
Over the last 7 years there has been a large increase in Fat Reduction treatments using non-surgical technology.
One of the most common questions clients ask is, “What is the difference between Freeze and Cavitation?”
Both of these are recognised treatments for non-surgical fat removal but they use very different technologies.
I will explain why it is not always a matter of you choosing one over the other to achieve your result expectation.
Fat freeze and cavitation work better on particular types of fat and particular body areas.
FAT FREEZE
Is a method of removing fat cells from the body without surgery. Its proper name is “cryolipolysis” and works very well on the right areas. As the name suggests, it involves freezing the fat cells causing them to die off. The area being treated must be soft enough to be sucked into the applicator for 360 treatment.
About 30% of the fat cells die per treatment and are removed from your body by your lymphatic system.
It is perfect for pockets of fat. The CoolSlimming 360 can treat up to 4 areas at one time.
Recommend : 3 treatments per target area at 4 week intervals. Results may not be evident for 6 weeks by which time you should have already had your 2nd freeze. The bodys’ process of breaking down and excreting the destroyed, crystallised fat cells takes time.
CAVITATION
Which is also known as Ultrasonic Cavitation, is quite different to cryolipolysis. It also kills fat cells but in a completely different way. The ultrasound wave makes the fat cells vibrate and jiggle about until they burst, spill out their contents and die. Destruction of fat using this technique enables elimination from the body within 72 hours
This treatment involves the use of a paddle type applicator which is guided all over the target area. You can treat large areas which may not be suitable for Fat Freeze. If the fat is harder to squeeze or spread over a larger area, then Cavitation is probably the best choice
You need a course of treatments. Recommended 8-10 treatments at 5-7 day intervals for best results.
